It’s Been a Whole Year: Let’s talk about what’s to come.

I would love your input and so would like to talk shop with you.

First, this past year has been a wonderful dream— one that I owe to my family who cheer me on constantly, all of you collectors who honor me with every one of your purchases as I know that it means that you find that the work has touched you as well, all of you who continually follow my journey, share my work and who send me kind words of encouragement. Yes, it’s definitely an amazing dream.

A year ago, I never thought that my work would appear in legitimate feature in Victoria Magazine, and even less in their books. I had no clue that I would get an email from My Next Guest show on Netflix requesting permission to allow my work to appear in the background as David Letterman interviewed Ryan Reynolds; and that YOU would purchase my work within minutes to hours of it being made available! There is so much to be thankful for in the past year.

Here is where I need your help. Some of you have asked if I would do commissions because the work is sold out when you have gotten to the website. However, commissions are very stressful for me, so I avoid them if I can. Being raised by an upholster and a seamstress means that craftmanship is of utmost importance, so I cannot make work any faster because I do not ever want to put quality at risk for the sake of quantity. In the last few years, I have been approached by manufacturers offering to license my painting designs for fabrics, wallpaper, etc., but I haven’t had the time to really research it. So, now I am making the time. This would be a wonderful opportunity to make my painted floral designs on lovely items available to more of you who also embrace pretty things.

What would you be interested in: puzzles, stationery, wallpaper, fabric, or do you have other ideas?
