Dreaming of Tulips

Yes, the excitement of the Holidays is everywhere, including this studio! The ceramic ornaments added to the site all sold! Thank you so very much!!! It would be wonderful to see how lovely they look within your decorated trees.

A few more pottery pieces were added just now to the online gallery. I’m thrilled to show them to you. I’ve been working hard to get just the right light sea-foam/aqua glaze that I have dreamt of. Now to find a recipe for a light turquesa. It feels like the color palette for my pottery is starting to come together after several weeks of tweaking and testing glazes. I feel like a proper apothecary.

This being said, I want to share here a recent post from my Instagram to say thank you for all the lovely birthday gifts and cards. It’s such a joy to hear from you and receive such touching words from everywhere!! Oh my heart!!!!

It’s CONFESSION TIME!
Before I get to that, I can’t say enough that my collectors are the absolute best! I received these lovely seed packages and tulip and amaryllis bulbs a couple of weeks ago. I was so thrilled by the wonderful birthday surprise that I made little pots to get some of the bulbs started.
Okay, now to my mess.
I was an awful gardener in 2021. I gave up half way into the growing season. The excuses are many… best not to open that can of worms.
Besides at the end of the day it was my neglect. So the coulda-shouldas are a lot.
But thank goodness that gardening means that there is always hope and excitement for the next season.
I’m so happy to have this gift to get my new plans for the coming season started. It gives me such hope for the Spring.
Thank you!

Many hugs,

Carolina
