I love November, and not only because it's my birthday month (which means all the yucky chore things I have to do become little "presents" form hubby). My birthday is on the 17th, so it feels like all month should be my birthday. Right? I also love this month because it reminds me to step back and think about all the fabulous things that I have for which to be thankful.
For one, my mother is doing much better and so far there is no sign of the tumor. Yeay for prayers, good thoughts, handwork, lots of love and for science (medicine and thoughtful and skilled medical staff). I'm thankful for all the other special people in my family that make it wonderful. I'm very fortunate to have a teaching career that I love and my career as an artist which has been a dream. I'm thankful for you and your kindness throughout the year. Thank you with all my heart.
I'm thankful that this week, I had time to paint several paintings that I have been working on for a while now. The painting of the roses with Chanel bottle will have to be the last one of that kind for a while since the bottle broke when I was trying to clear off the prop table to prepare if for the next painting. However, I'm very pleased with the bottle's very last portrait. I hope you like it as well.
