Motto for 2018: No More Waiting

Thank ya'll for participating in the Holiday sales. My studio space will be ready for me to tackle on some new work for 2018. I want to start out the year with bigger works, more landscapes, and new techniques.

Oh, and new brushes. My husband surprised me with an early Christmas present of Rosemary and Co. brushes... I don't think I will ever go back. He really didn't mean for me to get them early, but the mailcarrier dropped off the package that said it was from "Rosemary and Co." what else was I to think? Then of course, I had to open them as soon as he got home.

It was a fabulous Christmas with the family. We make Honduran tamales with my mom every year (we wrapped them in banana leaves and aside from masa, they have chicken/pork, rice, chickpeas, and green peas). At home, I make pineapple empanadas and chicken Mexican style tamales.. shown below.

I hope you had a fabulous Holiday as well.

XO,

Carolina
