Signs of Spring and New Work

Little seedlings are popping up in the patio room and I'm awaiting a shipment of David Austin roses to add to my collection. I believe gardeners epitomize optimism-- those of us who dream of having a green thumb even more so. Every year we sow our seeds and place new plants in the ground with the hope that some of them might make it to bloom and fruit despite us.

Oh, thank you to the lovely collector who sent me lovely heirloom tomato and foxglove seeds. I've wanted to paint foxgloves for a long time, but now florist seems to carry them and I can't seem to grow them. However, I was told these are magic foxglove seeds. So, maybe this time you will seem them in a painting or two. Wish me luck.

I send many wonderful wishes for all of your gardens and can't wait to see what comes of it.

Thank you again for stopping by to see what I'm up to.

Hugs, Carolina
