Each earthenware pottery piece is fired to create bisque ware. The vessels are wheel thrown and the flowers are hand sculpted leaf by leaf, petal by petal.
After the piece is sculpted, it is bisque fired. Then it is painted with brilliant colored glazes to give a watercolor effect on the blooms and then the piece is fired for a second time.
Because each is handmade, the piece that you will receive might be slightly different than the one shown.
